I have stayed at the Regency for years - 1 night/year. I'm always there for fun; this year I was there for 2 nights, working. I had big boxes of product shipped in & out and they couldn't have been more helpful or nicer! This was on one of their busiest holiday nights of the year w/all sorts of events happening at the hotel - they were just amazing! I also used the spa and my massage was awesome! It's just a great place & staff!

As always, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Portland Regency. It is convenient to the Exchange Street shopping district, excellent restaurants, and has a bit of downtown 'flair' in an older, elegant style. It's our favorite hotel in the Portland area. Our peaceful breakfast the morning before embarking home was excellent, and we enjoyed our friendly, collegial waiter as well.
Can't really think of anything, other than the minor inconvenience of valet parking.

Responsive staff. The phone charger I left was quickly found and returned to me by someone at the front desk. Even though housekeeping was gone, she located it.
I was very disappointed that the garden café was not open. It looked so inviting.

Excellent location in Portland with very helpful and polite staff. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable.
I did not dine at the hotel, but the morning complimentary coffee bar was lovely.

It was super clean & I loved the spa area so peaceful & relaxing. My daughter & I had a resful stay.

The location is perfect. We had a suite with a balcony which is just exceptional in Old Port!
Because of weather issues there was no airport shuttle which made for a confusing & caoutic checkout

The bed, a King-sized one, was too soft and may very well need to be replaced; that's why the "comfort" section above is merely a "five."

The rooms were comfortable including beds, linens and towels.
My room was not ready when I arrived and the staff said they would call my cell when my room was ready, but they never called. Very difficult to get the doormen to help with bags, they are reactive not proactive.
