Not pleased with this Hotel at all. The Staff were excellent and do not deserve to have to apologise for the dirt, stale smells and WORN OUT MATTRESSES with springs sticking through in the bedrooms, antiquated systems, outside noises in the back bedrooms, hot and sticky and unable to open windows due to service noises. Breakfasts were atrocious although the food in general, Lunch and Dinner were excellent. Notwithstanding THE CUTLERY ON ALL OCCASIONS WAS DIRTY WITH FOOD STUCK TO THE KNIVES AND FORKS. This was apparent on each and every day of our stay.We complained of course but still dirt was apparent afterwards. Nothing was done. The PA system at night entertainment was too loud and was not turned down when asked.

Hotel room comfy and suited our needs, the only downside was the view as all we could see were large lorry containers and coaches. the room desperately needs updating but again almost clean, pubic hair found under soap and hair in the bath.

Upon arrival I was asked for full payment and the room which I was allocated was small and dirty. I was given a option of 3 further rooms and took a sea view room. However, as this was the best room they had I wish I had stayed elsewhere, it was very dirty with lots of cobwebs on the walls and ceiling. I had a shower and the bath filled with water as the drainage did not work too well. The room windows were very dirty. I complained many times to reception and asked for the room to be cleaned 3 times to no avail.

The photo of the hotel is misleading as the hotel looks nothing like the hotel on the internet. Also when more than one room is booked at a time, the rooms given out should be near each other.

Suitable for young and old alike plenty for children to do.. away from the hustle and bustle but literally just outside the entrance bus and tram service to Blackpool sites is a ten minute trip including all the stops available until midnight. Stayed in a family room, decor was of a much higher standard than in the general reception area which was a very pleasant surprise...
