Nice old listed buildings with a courtyard, clean and quiet, nearby river Ouse and many historical sites, easy to walk to the city centre and close to the railway station, excellent breakfast with full choices of both the English and continental options, free internet access, and courteous staff.
The hotel provides meeting rooms as business facilities, but lacks facilities of printing for guests.

Very friendly staff, room was smaller than the room on our previous visit but on the whole we had a lovely relaxing stay, staff very friendly and helpful and the food was good quality.

We were allocated room 2 for the period 19th - 21 Sept.It was very small indeed and we requested a larger room but were unsuccessful due to the hotel being full over the weekend.Your reception staff are great and very helpful,but there was one lady who would benefit from a "smiling"course.

The foreign staff were excepionally friendly,helpful and professional
Parking is a problem.
