Main reason for choosing Huntingdon Manor Hotel: Rate
The hotel is located in a hotel 4 minutes from the legislature, the Museum of British Columbia and the port. The neighborhood is quiet. Our room on the back of the hotel had a small balcony where two chairs were available.
We were disappointed with our stay at this hotel, on arrival, inside the hotel, there are ten steps to climb if your room is on 1st floor, and no ramp to help raise the heavy bags or offers to mount the bags on the floor. The furniture and decor of the room is viellot. We had a room called business with a queen bed, small table and two chairs. There would have been enough room for a sofa or at least two comfortable chairs. Breakfast at the hotel was a gun.

Location was good if you are a tourist.
Smell of rooms, like they had been converted from smoking rooms. Bedding was old.

Very comfortable, traditional hotel experience. Attractive lobby and lovely breakfast room (conservatory). Desk staff and wait staff really friendly and efficient. Breakfast delicious.
1. Did not like having to pay $9 extra for parking.
2. Did not like that the key-card took about 12 tries to work and let me in my room.
3. Did not like that the (rather) old radio alarm in my room did not work (although clock part did work).
