Seattle is an eccentric and fascinating city – one of its unique sights is the Market Theater Gum Wall, in Post Alley at Pike Place Market. This is a wall covered with chewing gum, in some places a few inches thick. The tradition of sticking gum to the wall is thought to have begun in 1993.
