Kimpton Alton Hotel - Fisherman's Wharf, an IHG Hotel

The free Internet service was a plus and one of the reasons I chose this hotel.

Although free, the Internet service was slow.. The Business Center computers were slow as to be essentially unusable and the printers were inadequate.

It was convenient to the area of town I was working. Elevators were fast! Everything clean and spacious, staff was pleasant and helpful.

Parking prices were too high!

None. All was good

Location

The walls are so thin it sounded like the people next door were in are room

Location was great, a block from the Pier.

For the price, the room was nothing special. Could've been cleaner, dusted etc.. Bathroom had zero counter space.

The location was perfect!Hotel was very clean.

I did not like the fact that we had to pay $40 per day to park. The cost of the room should have covered that. Also, the concierge could have been more knowledgible.

We have stayed here before and the location is the reason

This was a birthday weekend. A family gift arrive and was signed for at 3:00 the day if our arrival, we arrived at 3:30. It was set up with the hotel that it would be in our room when we arrived. When it was not there I went to the lobby and was told nothing had arrive. I checked several times that day and was told the same. The sender called the hotel the next day and again was told nothing had been delivered. She told the manager who had signed for it the previous day. We then got a call telling us to come to the front desk for our delivery. They did not offer to bring it up and we received no apology. Makes one wonder how many times this happens and who gets the deliveries. If the sender had not complained to the mgr we never would have gotten it
