Everything. Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants. Transportation right outside the door for the rest of the city. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast worked well for us. Rooms were neat and clean.

Best stay of my week long vacation. Terrific location, great staff, awesome room, free parking, pretty decent breakfast included. What can I say? If you are unfamiliar with Portland, the inn is located at the northern end of a trolley route that will take you through downtown. It couldn't be easier. The trolley runs on an "honors" system. Ask for a pass at the front desk, but no one will take your ticket when you board.
Wood frame, so unless you're bare on the top floor you can expect to hear your upsiars neighbors. Only one elevator so expect to wait. Is that a deal breaker? Not for me :)

I liked many things: size of room, helpfulness of staff, convenience to streetcar, free passes, 24 hour coffee, cleanliness of facility
The room above us was occupied by a family with 2 boys. They ran continuously early in the morning, and in the evening.

The location. Streetcar stop was excellent transportation. Nice neighborhood close to popular 23rd Street shopping
