A wonderfully spacious and elegant building gave an immediate sense of luxury and comfort. Our room was also sizeable and well appointed, with a huge and very comfortable double bed and a superb view on to the Place Gambetta. The enormous bathroom was also exactly what we like. Staff were efficient and obliging. Having eaten so well in the evening (Jeroboam) we were not in a position to take advantage of the breakfast that was include in the price, but the breakfast room looked most inviting. Normally this would be at very the top of our price range but the special offer was fantastic. Will definitely return. High marks all round!

As members of the wine Society this hotel is already significant; however, it was the space, elegance and comfort that most impressed us. We also very much liked the inventiveness of the cuisine and the ambiance in the Jeroboam, although we recognise that it is independent. It would have been preferable had the clientele been less English as we prefer a continental atmosphere, but this is inevitable.
Normal rates are rather high.

Very comfortable, generously sized and spotless rooms, with excellent bathroom
Two things. First, sound-proofing is not as good as it should be. We were disturbed by noise from the room upstairs and the corridor. Secondly, we were billed for breakfasts which we did not take. This was put right but without any apology from the reception staff.

We have stayed there before. Good location, modern, comfortable room which now has air con. Price is reasonable for the area.

We did not have the breakfast as it is on the high price side. It would be good if there was a cheaper simple breakfast as an option for those of us going on to a full French lunch the same day.

A very good hotel, and excellent value for money.

Size of bedroom and en suite bathroom. Very pleasant location in a beautiful small town. Easy (and free) parking. Helpful and pleasant staff.
Mattress, as with so many hotels, was too hard. Scrambled egg at breakfast was overcooked each morning. With so many guests from the UK, one might have hoped for more BBC TV channels.
