La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Indianapolis Airport Executive Dr

It was the night of a blizzard and I made a late reservation and the person at the desk checked me in while I was enroute so I just needed to grab a key when I got there. The shuttle service was the only reason i made it to my airline flight the next morning. It was a relief to leave my car in the long term parking at the hotel, which I knew would be safer and easier to get my car out of the snow than the airport parking. The hotel bedding was very nice, the bed comfy and the coffee and bagel much appreciated. I would definitely stay there again prior to a flight and would recommend it to friends who are traveling.

The hallway carpet needs to be replaced, but the room was nice and clean.

Exactly what we needed.

Our requested wake-up call at 3:30 happened as we had asked. But the bedside radio alarm went of at precisely midnight. We had not touched it. some sort of default. Just one of those things, but my wife does not go back to sleep easily.

The young lady that checked me in...Her name is Katlin,I believe.. Such a sweet soft spoken young lady.. Went out of her way in helping me check in,and parking my car for my stay and getting me to and from the Airport.. Take a look at her.. You need more like her

My group and I were very pleased and thankful that we could use the conference room for our all day meeting. That really made our stay great. I enjoyed the many choices for breakfast, as well as the hours for breakfast. And I appreciated having a shuttle bus to get to and from the airport.

It was quiet, even though it was during FFA week with many teenagers present.

The stair well carpets were dirty and had not been vaccumed the entire week I stayed. Also, as the week went on, housekeeping duties in my room were less than desirable. One day no towels, one day bed not made, next day bed not made and no towels however the trash can was emptied on both days. Also, housekeeping neglected to notice the tissue box was empty for two days until I said something. At the beginning of the week, I walked across the room in new white socks; as a result the bottoms of the socks were filthy from the carpeting. The rugs should be vacuumed and shampooed regularly (in the room and in stairwells). I suspect that my room was only vacuumed once during the week. If would also be much nicer if housekeeping paid attention to detail when vacuuming and also vacuumed along the walls where there was a noticable amount of dust. I do not know if the cleanliness is a problem associated with this particular LaQuinta or if all LaQuinta's have the same practice. Unfortunately, based on my experience with cleanliness, it would be less than honest if I would pass a stellar recommendation for someone else to stay there.

Staff was helpful in printing maps of where I wanted to go.
