Upstairs, river view room. Convenient location - for day trips, shopping, restaurants.
The only seating in the room was two hard-backed wooden chairs.

The location for your visit was excellent...
We were on a 12 night trip and Bend was a desirable location, we also rented a suite for our son. the rooms were dark and showed wear; the chairs were worn, and stools seats were lopsided when sitting on them; the electrical power to the room light went out when the hair dryer was used...and on the second day of cleaning, the trash was not removed, the coffee supplies were not replaced...
In the dining and bar areas, the carpeting was not in place, one felt that you were eating in a playground, not a up scale Bend hotel.

We loved our room right on the river. My brother was able to walk from our patio into the Deschutes and go fly fishing every morning. The hotel grounds are beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. Nice pools and 2 hot tubs, pllus a sauna and workout room, bar and very adequate buffet breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sawyer Park a few minutes walk away is also gorgeous and worth a visit.
It was a little more than I hoped to spend, but totally worth it!

No safety bars in bathroom. The rooms always smell bad, like an old wet rug. I noticed this the last time I strayed there. Other than that everything is fine.

River view was beautiful!
Breakfast was crowded. Staff was not helpful and annoyed when asked.

We love staying in a river view room and watching the wildlife right out our window!
Breakfast room is a bit drab and could use a face lift. also a little more selection for breakfast would be nice, ie. more selection of fresh fruit, more flavors of yogurt and maybe some unflavored yogurt as well.

The location is spectacular although it is hard to find.
The desk clerk was eager to point out that the facility had outdoor and indoor swimming pools and two indoor spas. However she neglected to tell us that the indoor pool and spas were all empty and they had no intention of filling them during our stay.
