The hotel was minutes from downtown Bangor. The room was clean and comfortable and, most importantly, quiet. The attached restaurant provided a wonderful breakfast with welcoming staff.

We found the room a little larger than usual. We also liked it that there was a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Found the beds very comfortable.

Our only problem was that when we turned off the light in our room using the light switch by the door it also controlled the microwave and the coffeemaker. We "assumed" there was a blown fuse and did not report it until we were checking out of our room. A notice indicating this dual function of the switch would have been appreciated.

The air freshener they use on their carpets. It was very strong.

We had to request clean towels,toilet tissue(we purchased our own, as well as Kleenex tissues). Also had to request our garbage be removed daily. Having said that, staff were obliging as long as we asked.
