How rapidly the extra shuttle vans arrived to handle the large number of people arriving after midnight on a delayed flight from Tokyo. It was good not to have to wait when I was already so tired.
Price seemed high, considering that I was there less than eight hours. For that price, breakfast should be included. Also, I suggest that you make your short-ten stays more flexible in terms of hours. For example, I would have liked to take advantage of a short term stay from midnight to seven a.m.

Internet is never reliable, should have more computers for guest access in the business center.

The large comfortable bed after traveling was wonderful.
The communication with the room service staff was a little difficult re: 5 minute soft boiled eggs. But staff responded immediately to rectify the error.

It was easy to get to Bangkok by train
We booked a non smoking room with a king size bed. On arrival we told that a non smoking was not available, only twin room. We accepted a smoking double not realising how strongly this would smell of smoke. Having stayed in several hotels during our stay in Thailand, we found the Novotel to be very impersonal.
