Always like staying here usually stay about 3 times a year - under new mgmt. see improvements being made - staff is always friendly and helpful make you feel at home

Room was clean and comfortable. the staff was very nice. the beach facilities were good.

Bathroom was small. needed updating. shower wall grout had mold. needed to be cleaned. outside balcony was not private. had to share with the room next door

Close to the beach, which was excellent!! My 8yr.old granddaughter loved the pools! The rooms were comfortable. We would love to visit again

The parking was alittle hectic, but we managed!

Some long waits for breakfast. Apparently there were too few staff in the kitchen.

Hotel was very noisy we could actually hear everything in the room above us and on top of that maintenance workers kept on bothering us with their big heavy duty noisy machines when we were relaxing by the pool. Stafff didn't seem concerned when we complained. Additionally we were treated as consumers or money generators by the staff not as guests ... The tone was ' give me your credit card...sign here .... Sign there...and screw you if you had to complain cause we run the show'' I guess never go back there again.

Rooms very dated, small bath. Room musty but aired out after i opened door toward the beach Walkout from room was tiny and shared with room next door Workers were Painting outside my room my whole stay If you are discerning about having a nice hotel room this is not your spot I ignored the dingyness and enjoyed the view and sunsets! And ended up liking it...

The staff was friendly and for the most part helpful. There were many issues and they were right on top of getting things fixed.

Yes, there was a lot I didn't like. First of all, I had a wedding at the Ritz Carlton so I saw (on line) that the Helmsley Sandcastle was .3 miles from the "Ritz". That's why I stayed at the Helmsley. We had a bellboy drive us to the "Ritz" only to discover that we needed to go to the Ritz Carlton in a different location. The bellhop wouldn't drive us there! Second, when we arrived one of the double beds had 'SAND' on it. Sheets had to be changed immediately. There was a "cigarette smell" in the room even though when I booked it, I deliberately made a point of indicating that I needed a "smoke free" room. I use oxygen for my pulmonary condition and a smoky room was not what I anticipated. They did say they would put an ozone filter thing in the room to clear the air. Third, a piece of baseboard was broken off the wall laying on the ground with two nails sticking straight up. That could have been quite a disaster. Luckily we saw it laying on the ground and picked it up before we could step on it. It was a short stay - just overnight and we weren't in the room very much except to sleep and get ready for the wedding. All in all, I am not satisfied at all - a refund of my $$$ would be appropriate.

Rest in the room despite near the shipyard and the church.

I has gotten no room for my hotel bill from the mission statement for my company because I have posted on your agency. The bill I get from you I was told. Is that so??
