Everyone, from the valet staff to the front desk staff and the room service staff, were exceptionally professional and friendly. I visited the hotel with my Boxer dog, who enjoyed riding up and down the elevator and made friends with everyone! Thank you for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

The staff at the Citizen is always amazing. My stay was cut short a day due to a family illness and they were very understanding about cancelling our second night and a reservation at Grange for 7 people for a birthday celebration. We love this hotel. We recommend it to all our friends who come to Sacramento.
This is the first time I have noticed that some of the rooms are getting tired. There were several broken items in our suite and the person next door played the TV 24/7. However we still love this hotel.

There was a very loud night club located across the street from our room that kept us awake until it closed. That said, it's probably only an issue on Fri/Sat night's. The hotel did comp us our valet parking charge because of the inconvenience which was nice.

Comfortable and attractive rooms. Thick bath towels. very nice staff. great location.
I asked for a bathrobe 3 times and never received one.

Found the staff of the hotel from the bellman to front desk to housekeeping to be alert and attentive. Very helpful throughout my stay. Definitely made me feel welcome.
Unlike the staff in the Grange.
After my flight in to Sacramento...and stopping to register at the Convention Center I had stopped in the Grange...just to get a glass of wine and relax. There were guests at the bar and at tables....however, I was told that dinner would not be for another hour...and really was not made to feel welcome to stay...being a woman alone. Needless to say, I did not return at any time during my 4 night stay.
