I went for a convention which is across the road from Hampton Inn.
Good area to stay in. Nice area around the vicinity to walk esp along the Potomac River.

The room was very adequate,nice furnishings and a big bathroom. The desk worked well. The light switch on the lamp next to the bed is hard to find. I thought the hotel rooms were equal to the Gaylord for a much more reasonable price. I like a smaller hotel you don't have to walk as far to the elevator. The breakfast was great. Breakfast eating facilities in the area practically non-existent. Its convenient to have a breakfast at the hotel.
Scrambled eggs: Have one type that is plain with a choice of toppings. The day I was there there were 2 choices: Both were all were all mixed up with ham, mushrooms, and onion. The other kind had meat, tomatoes and other things. Have better bread for toast. Arnold or Pepperidge Farm whole wheat and white.

The room was spacious, and the staff kept it clean every day. I appreciated the continental breakfast provided every morning. Staff was helpful in answering every question I asked thoroughly.
The internet service did not allow viewing videos on different websites like aol, msn, etc. Other than that it worked fine.
