Travelodge by Wyndham Newport

The breakfast was not very good.

It is really not that far of a walk to the beach from this hotel.

The room was pretty small to have two double beds in it. Also you are right next to the busy highway and you can hear the traffic.

During our stay the weekend of May 5th, we were pleased with every aspect of this facility! The staff was wonderful, and the rooms were clean and much nicer than we anticipated. The bed was so comfortable; it was the first time I have ever slept well away from home! We have stayed at a 'cheaper' hotel and got a much lower quality and less comfort for more price. Although we didn't eat the breakfast, the facility was VERY clean, well organized, and we ended up kicking ourselves to blowing money at a restaurant. It's a great location, easy to find, and just a quick walk to the beach. This exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be staying again!

The door was not plumb, and therefore let light and air through it. As well as any voice. Better doorways and some soundproofing might be nice. It's kind of creepy knowing that anyone can hear anything you're talking about right outside your room. :\
