The hotel's positioning relative to the center of Manhattan.
It 'a shame that one has to wait until 5 pm in order to have a room available, leaving you to sit in the lobby with your bags between your feet and the bathroom was really painful. Finally, the air conditioning was noisy.

Staff friendly. No problem when we wanted to change the room (there was mold on the ceiling in places !!!).
The original room (and many safe with it) was dark and stuffy. When I do want to mention the hotel for others it will be based on the hotel's central location and if it is possible to obtain a good price. Otherwise not.

The lifts are very slow, sometimes involving a long wait but a very minor issue
