The location to the university. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Our bathroom spelled musty, the Windows had finger prints on them, the faux the furniture needs to reupholstered the fabric is dirty. Also the drain in the bathroom sink was broken.

Perfect location on the pedestrian mall. Wonderful staff!
We have stayed at Hotel Vetro several times. This stay, we noticed it is beginning to show some age/wear.

We thought it was great. We loved being downtown and the motel motif was beautiful.
The folks just below us was were very loud well into the night. I'm not sure the hotel could do much about that, but it was difficult to sleep because their party went well into the night on their balcony.
We were also very disappointed that though we had reserved a room with a balcony, we were not given one. We were told that it was because we reserved the room through Hotels.com... if we had reserved through the hotel specifically they could have guaranteed a room with a balcony.
Also, we have yet to receive a final bill for our stay... not sure what that's all about. Again we were told that Hotels.com would be sending us that.

I like the architecture. Makes me feel classy. I like looking out the glass walls. In previous stays for longer than the weekend, I have really appreciated the kitchen.
The room remains very light at night. That must be the price one pays for having glass walls. I longed for darkness to help me sleep.
