Helpful front desk staff, good food, and excellent wait staff.

Worst possible view. Room overlooks the roof of the hotel with no view of the sky or even the parking lot. This room should be discounted or at the very least occupants should be warned in advance about the lack of a view.

The hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. Starbucks coffee in the room was great, too

The restaurant (Houlihans) attached to the hotels was terrible. Dinner on Friday evening was fine. Good service and food acceptable for the price. They advertised that breakfast buffet would be open at 7am and include a lot of nice foods, etc. We arrived at 7am to fine no food in the buffet and the cook not willing to cook anything to order because he was so behind in getting the buffet ready. It was 7:30am before they even started to bring the food to the buffet bar. Also, many of the specific things they advertised that would be in the buffet was not included. E.g., fresh baked on the premise pastries. All they had were store bought basic white and wheat bread that was stale. Sadly my wife also got food poisoning from eating at the buffet. We are going to report this to the Illinois health department. The restaurant may not be operated by the hotel but it will drag the hotel down if the quality is so bad. We may stay at the hotel but will never use the restaurant again.

Clean, beautiful rooms and lobby. Great employees, would stay ther again.

Location to U of I is excellent. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was upscale and luxurious.

A little pricey, but worth it for location and luxury.

Nice room. Houlihan's staff friendly. Good breakfast deal with Starbucks.
