Warm, friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Great central location, most things walking distance.
Drinks a little pricey, although bar staff were also really nice. Was a late booking (last Twin room 602) so our view out the back needed the curtains closed!

Our refurbished room was really nice. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I thought the whole package was good value and the breakfast choice was excellent

The staff were polite helpful and efficient.
Housekeeping did not check room, eg. bedside light broken although they quickly replaced bulb when notified.

Location and good old fashion service of a high order.
Air conditioning unit in room 617 not working and was choked with dust anyway.

We have stayed at The Grand three times and each time we have had an excellent room. The staff are extremely efficient, professional, friendly and courteous.

Easy Registration, well appointed (if past their prime) rooms, good breakfast. Service was good, bar meals were expensive.
