Main reason for choosing Boomtown Casino & Hotel: Location
The hotel, the room we booked, along with their hotel staff and their hospitality and amenities, were fabulous and outstanding. The room was very clean. We were greeted with courtesy and a wonderful sincere smile upon check in and throughout our entire stay. The hotel staff were very polite and their attention to our service was great. It was a 10.
The hotel staff, again, were very polite and courteous. No problems there. But, beware of the casino staff. They were cold, rude, and unattentive. A majority appeared judgemental. As we contributed to their economy by gaming in their casino during our stay, the casino staff were cold, distant and were reluctant to serve you more than one adult beverage.

The staff could'nt have been more friendly and accomodating.
The casino was ice-cold. I, normally like a colder enviroment, but this was over the top. Many people wearing jackets, so I know I was not alone. I was disappointed in not having a micro or fridge in my room, but most disappointing was the lack of water pressure. I understand the requirement of water saving devices, but this was nothing more than a trickle. The food served in the buffet was not very good, with the exception of the desserts.

My wife thought the room was really super. Food was really good. Will definitely consider staying there again.
Couple issues with teh room. Shower head did not spray well. Plug in the tub kept coming out and let the water drain out.

Size of room was nice
Not enough crap tables open. Only one and too crowded for play. Drink girls were non existent.

Location was easy to get to. Valet Parking was convenient and lobby personel was friendly.
Almost everything, Room was outdated and not clean. Bar and Main restaurant was closed for party. Buffet was way to expensive for Louisiana Soul food you can get anywhere for $10. Bar in Casino had only Box Wine"Really People"
