Main reason for choosing Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Al Ain Hotel: Location

This was our third stay here in three years. The carpet in our room has started showing signs of age even though it was properly cleaned. There was a slight dampness in the air. The bathroom smelled of sewage in the evenings. The premises are very well kept and the air is nice and cool in the evenings.

The location at the top of the mountain is great since it is a lot cooler than places lower in elevation. It is inland which keeps it away from the suffocating humidity of the coastal places.

Sewage or something related seems to be an issue and the bathroom smelled of sewage in the evenings. There were a few roaches about (outside) in the evenings which we did not notice the two previous years.
