Main reason for choosing Stratford Suites: Rate
The night clerk was nice enough to share his pizza since our plane was late, we had no rental car and all the food places within walking distance were closed. Morning staff was really helpful and pleasant as well.

The room was beautiful. It was clean and well stocked.
The mattress was horrible. It is like sleeping on a spring. That truly would be my only complaint.

Staff courtesy was excellent.
Suites are very comfortable and well planned.
The little extras like being able to make coffee,
wash our laundry, cook our own food, and
have our family pet stay with us made our stay
enjoyable and worry-free. We had to extend our
stay at the last minute and the office staff
helped us and was even able to keep us in the
same suite. There are very few places that will
accommodate their customers like that.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay, the friendly staff, who had baked cookies, coffee, tea, and cocoa in the lobby, and a outdoor BBQ for guests on the night we arrived! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-furnished with essentials. The grounds were well kept with beautiful flowers in bloom when we visited. We'll definitely return on our next trip to the Spokane area.
Minor issues: It would help to have a hand held shower head with spray controls. Our bedroom TV did not work; it would be helpful to have operating instructions for people who may want to watch TV in the bedroom (we didn't). The queen bed seemed a little narrow and the mattress tended to "cave toward the middle"... would be nice to have a king bed option.

We were very comfortable. The place is like having an apartment. Tv in bedroom as well as living room, and recliner in the living area was my best friend. We were there to visit son going to School at Eastern, gave us a nice mid point between him and Spokane, this isn't your typical hotel...this is home away from home.
