Main reason for choosing Grouse Mountain Lodge: Location
Nicely decorated rooms, practical tile entrance way for snowy boots, ski clothes etc. Fitness room was well set up with modern equipment. Pool was small but adequate. There were some nice vegetarian options on the menu (but there can always be more). Excellent shuttle service to ski hill and to town (particularly as hotel is a little way out of town).
Very noisy. Had a room that had adjoining door with next room and could hear every word of their conversations - even at midnight. Maybe need to consider some better soundproofing between adjoining doors.
