Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Watertown-Thousand Island, an IHG H

I really like the location of this hotel. I like the fact that they have a pool, in room coffee makers and microwaves which is very convenient! I love that free breakfast is served for guests. That is truly a lifesaver...

I have stayed at this hotel before but this time I found it to be a bit tired and rundown. I was very disappointed to find blood on the comforter/sheet of my daughter's bed. We stayed in room 326. (It was old blood, not fresh.) The bed closest to the window. That in itself makes me want to try the adjacent hotel next door for our next trip to Watertown. We went downstairs to speak to the front desk but it was so busy, we left. On another note, the poor gal who was running the food area at breakfast was so run off her feet, it was awful. There was a wait for food to be replenished but the poor girl could only do her best. I think on weekends when the hotel is at full capacity, another person should be there to help out.
