Main reason for choosing The Pierpont Inn: Rate
The atmosphere. We have fond memories gained over 20+ years of the Pierp0nt Inn. We will keep those, but we will not be back. Sad
Service has deteriated, comensorate with attitude. Dining was a nightmare. Service and food was horible.

Main reason for choosing The Pierpont Inn: Rate
There was a very large bath tub in the room. It was very difficult to get out of and there were no bars in it to aid this. Also the controls to turn the water on and off were not easy to use. Also the lack of the bars in the tub could have been dangerous if someone was unsteady.

The view from the restaurant
There was no hairdryer in the room and the bathroom was dirty. You couldn't charge anything to the room, it had to be paid separately. The wifi was poor, breakfast was served too slow. The staff were friendly but everyone seemed to be new and being trained.

The garden, breakfast
Room fixtures and fittings were old. The reception desk staff were not welcoming. The bar, which was once an inviting place, had no bartender and was used as storage for event tables and chairs. The staff described the dining room menu as "comfort food". We ordered a club sandwich that was presented poorly as a smashed bread sandwich cut in half.
