Main reason for choosing Hotel Tybee: Reputation

This is only the second time we have stayed in this hotel, but we love it. Never before have I had such a wonderful nights rest away from home. I wanted to haul the bed and pillows home with us. We decided that this is THE place to stay even if your main focus is Savannah!

On the morning we checked out, we headed for breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. There was only ONE server but he was very polite and explained that he was the only server and there was a party of 50 ahead of us. We appreciated his honesty, chose to leave and found breakfast elsewhere.

Convenience to the beach and restaurants.

Our room was not vacummed the whole time we were there. The maid service could certainly have been improved.

Great location, great view, loved the room

Got shampoo and soap when arrived, stayed 4 nights, never received more, if we had not brought our own would be out of luck

Everyone was extremely friendly from the wait staff in the Dolphin Reef to the housekeepers .

The air conditioners were extremely noisy . They sounded like jets taking off
