Interesting decor. Indoor pool and whirlpool were small but in seemed to be well-maintained. The room appeared to be clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a working restaurant and bar in the lobby. If you book a night with breakfast included, you can choose from a large group of items, select a drink, and it will be charged against your room. It is definitely worthwhile to add this at the time of booking, if you plan to eat at the hotel. The choices are mostly cereals and sandwiches, but there is a fried/grilled breakfast that was quite good (I'm allergic to wheat, and it's safer for me to avoid grains altogether), and you can choose from juices, bottled drinks, and a small Starbucks menu (with free coffee in the lobby). Service in the restaurant was solid and friendly.

The bed was short. I'm 6'5", and I was uncomfortable in the queen bed. I don't think it was the arrangement of the bed, as I cleared the extra pillows off and pushed the other up against the headboard. It was not a terribly comfortable mattress, either, and I woke several times during the night. The desk chair, which was similar in style to an Aeron chair, was stiff, and it wouldn't adjust properly. This is disgusting, and unfortunate, but the bowl of the toilet was so shallow that I reached down into the water both times I used the toilet in the room. I think whoever chose the decor made their decisions based on appearance rather than functionality. I worked for nearly a decade as an industrial engineer, and although I though the hotel was very attractive, it was terribly uncomfortable and many amenities were poorly implemented or nonfunctional. I would strongly recommend that you book a room at the Embassy Suites, next door, for almost the exact same price. The steakhouse there is truly atrocious, but the rooms are quite nice and extremely comfortable, and the breakfast options are basic but decent.

Charged extra for a mediocre breakfast that is included in the fee at other hotels of similar quality. Also, we had to go downstairs and pay an outrageous amount for soft drinks. Most hotels have a vending machine on all floors and the price is about half the price you guys charge.

Basically everything. The mattress was a little to soft. That's my only comment.

The staff.

The fact that breakfast is not included in the price; the fact that the ice machines didn't work; the "oh, by the way, we've had to turn off the water, due a leak;" and the fact that we had to ASK the housekeeper to make up our room!.
