Quality Inn Thermopolis Near Hot Springs

The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable.

Our stay was 3 nights and our first night the room next to us arrived around 11:30 pm and did not stop slamming doors, turn off the loud TV or speak quietly till around 3 am. Was very hard to get back to sleep. It might be better for all concern if people who arrive late are either put in rooms that are not next to occupied rooms if at all possible or explain the need for them to be quiet when getting settled in, as well the night staff should check to see that they have quieted down quickly. The other issue that I felt needed some attention was the size of the space used for the breakfast. It was not set up well so that more than one person at a time could get their breakfast items. Maybe one of the rooms near the breakfast nook should be turned into the area the tables are and use the nook for the breakfast items. The morning sun was very warm coming through the windows making it very warm in the nook and the window covering could not be lower to help cool off the area. The last item I feel all Hotels should be non-smoking. Smokers on one end of the hall does not stop the smell from going through out the hotel.

The floors in the room were dirty. there was dust and cobwebs on the floors by the baseboard heaters, dust in the corners. There was no shower curtain, although when asked the maid did give me one and appologized.

Our rooms were clean and comfortable.

We were sooooooo disappointed in the swimming pool and so-called "hot" tub... Have mercy. We splurged to rent two rooms for our kids and grand kids to go swimming. We drove like crazy people to get there before a week of camping in Yellowstone. The big pool was freeeeezing and the small pool was dirty and lukewarm. We were very disappointed. The breakfast was not up to par either. People were scrambling and things seemed disorganized.

The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful in every way. I especially loved finding the daily newspaper in front of my door, and I could read it in the cozy lounge while eating the complementary continental breakfast, among other items, fresh waffles. Yummy!

Very friendly staff and clean facilities

The price was perfect for our involvement in a local horse show. The lodging was very nice for our activities in Thermopolis.

The coffee filter full of used coffee were still in the coffee pot from the previous guests that had stayed in the room we stayed in.

It was near the State Mineral Hot Springs.

The breakfast left something to be desired. The apples were brown inside. The apple juice came out as water. The Belgian waffle mix was watered down so that the waffles came out 1/2 size and crisp throughout.
