Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes

It was truly a resort with all of the amenities we hoped for an expected with two exceptions. First, I did expect pick-up/shuttle service would be provided at the airport. Since this is not provided may I suggest reimbursement for taxi service; although it was only $20 including tip, the gesture of reimbursement would have been appreciated and compensate for the lack of shuttle service (which, by the way is provided at the other Marriott. Secondly, the bathroom is lacking adequate shelving and hooks for clothing and toilet articles and clothing. I moved the coffee table from the living room into the bathroom to make up for the deficiency, and it worked . . . but lugging it back and forth was a pain. Also, a standard second luggage stand would have been nice and I wouldn't have to have called for it. Was impressed with the courtesy of desk, restaurant and valet staff. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

The juice water at entry into hotel. The comfort of our room. Hot outside, cool inside!! Your staff was great.

I liked the pina coladas. They brought us a mini fridge. Very courteous staff. I love this hotel. The pool is so fun and nice. I love coming here. This was out first stay but I have been coming here and enjoying the scenery. I love the view. This hotel is so awesome, the fast food in the area is awesome. Prime location. Everyone was very nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hallway smelled nasty, no ice in the ice machine. The guy at the bar seemed loaded and talked through or whole dinner at a table away from the bar and would not let us eat our dinner in peace to ourselves. We tried eating at the cafe with the waterfall inside but there were flies all over the silverware and tables. We had to leave before I lost it. But they just need to keep that older guy off the bar, get fly trap strips to hang and fix that funky smell in the hallways. no canned foods anymore either, that's not fresh, that's just gross. They also need to clean the pool of bees floating about, and keep the bees from nesting around the waterfalls. There's tons of bees there by and in the pools. My wife about had a fit. Thank you for everything it was overall fun.

We loved it but it was a short stay, the weather disrupted our family time. My children are 12 and 9, my grandchildren are 9 and 3. They didnt get to swim at all on Sunday. They were so sad and we missed alot of family time together. My father traveled from Safford ARizona to be with us for my sons Birthday. We have to get out of the pool because of lightening. We showed up for dinner soak in wet. Not your fault but would of liked the evening to be so much better with family. The next day we looked forward to spending time in the pool with family and that didnt happen because of the weather. I wish we could somehow get that weekend back. Is there some way you can schedule us to stay at your wonderful resort at a discount price. My father drove from SAfford and we drove from Glendale to spend quality time at your resort. Everything in and around our room was just as it aught to be. I especially liked the beautiful water containers with fruit floating in it! They were positioned everywhere! Arizona is extremely hot! So, to have a accessible cold drink of tasty water was very nice!

We all anticipated the breakfast buffet. However, when we arrived (With at least another hour of serving time left) the buffet was nearly empty. No eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, watermelon... They were restocking the buffet but there were so many people it would serve about 4 people and be gone again. We waited patiently but there were foods I never got any of.
