The rooms were beautifully appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The location was amazing.

We went to several plays at the Stratford Festival, and staying right across the street from two of the theaters was perfect. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - there was a problem in our room, and they called out service people to fix it right away. And the dinner we had there was our best of the trip. It's not new and flashy, but it is very good.

Main reason for choosing Foster's Inn: Location
The Foster inn is a stone's throw away from the Avon and Studio theatres. The rooms are large with high ceilings, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You are staying over the restaurant but there was very little noise, except maybe from the vintage wooden floors.
If you are a car person, your car is a block and a half away in a municipal lot. We didn't want to use our car while we were there, but I guess some might find that inconvenient.

We liked the convenience of the Inn to the Avon Theatre. We appreciated the elevator. We loved the adjoins no restaurant for dinner and for breakfast. Both were outstanding meals.
The stools around the round table in the bar were wonky for me to sit upon. The footboard on the bed juts out and more than once ( we must be slow learners) we bumped our shins on it.

My dinner at your restaurant was absolutely delicious. I've been raving about,it,ever since. It was the buttermilk chicken with the agnolotti.

Great location. Love the high ceilings. Staff was very nice. Food in the reataurant was excellent!!
Only that there is no on site parking. Had to park down the street in municipal lot.
