After checking out, but spending time on beach we were allowed to come back
In and use bathroom and shower facilities. This is a BIG plus
We've been there twice in last month and We WILL be back!
Restaurant on premises also excellent!

The hotel was close to all that I had planned during my stay in the area.. Our room was big and comfortable.. Andrew at the front desk was very helpful in directing me to the different spots that I was looking for.. Checking in and out was a breeze..
Couldn't find a thing I didn't like..

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant. It was very clean inside and out. It was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

The staff was extremely nice at the front desk. We had a couple of issues with. The room that received promt attention.
The staff takes smoking breaks outside the side entrance at the Ripley's Believe or Not bench. Though the hotel stresses no smoking in rooms I walked in and out of the hotel through cigarette smoke. This bench was also near the outdoor showers and I was parked on this entrance side. We had an audience for a lot of our activities . I suggest this bench be relocated to a location where there is not high volume guest traffic. I would recommend this hotel but note the smoking issue .

Very clean and well run.
The pool area has very little shade and staying out in the sun was impossible. You need to provided shaded areas that guests can sit under to enjoy the pool.

We chose to sleep in on Christmas and we were not disturbed, but clean towels and bath products were left at our door. We found that very impressive. In all, the motel was very comfortable and accommodating. Will retun!

Main reason for choosing Castillo Real Resort Hotel: Location
Location, location, location and the restaurant (La Cocina) was outstanding! Within walking distance of four excellent restaurants and a kiddie water park for the youngsters.
It could use a common room for guests to play cards, hold meetings with small groups and plan the days activities...we had a our family reunion of 27 and could have used a common room for assembly and planning.
