Swissotel The Stamford, Singapore

This stay of 1 night instead of booked 7 nights was a disaster. I did not even open my luggage and left never to return. Still, I did know the Swissotels, including another bad one in Bangkok (Nailert Park) where I cut my stay short. It would take more time to explain all the shortcomings.

Overall good hotel. A bit outdated style. Great view of the city if you get the right room. Though rooms could be cleaned better. Found a hair on my chair and could see some spots on bleached towels.

I have stayed at the Swissotel The Stamford a number of times and will continue to do so.

Very good hotel with great location and fantastic view!

The glass panel dividing the bath tub and the toilet bowl is disgustingly filthy. It was particularly mouldy. Probably missed by inspectors/supervisors as the panel is usually folded when the shower is not being used. One needs only to sit on the toilet bowl to see how dirty the glass panels are.

I have stayed several times at this hotel now and the rooms have ranged from poor to very good (suite) This room had recently been renovated and was pretty good. The price was a little dearer that I feel it should have been compared to what i have paid to stay at Pan Pacific in Singapore

The location of the hotel is very central in the city. Able to access to most shopping areas.
