Royal Plaza on Scotts

Having stayed at the RP on a previous occasion, I was most impressed by the up-dating, in particular, the restaurant on the ground floor and the great selection of food for breakfast.

While the price was competitive and the location great, the service was poor. staff was cold. the room i had was opposite the floor pantry and staff was talking loudly in teh morning and it affected my sleep. there was renovation going on so it was noisy throughout my stay.

Excellent location and staff

A nice hotel and convenient location nearby the shopping centre and the MRT. Room is very pleasant to stay. Food is good and halal which is very improtant for muslim. Staffs are very helpful.

Overall the stay was alright and the only thing is the cleanliness of the toilet. The toilet looks clean at a glance but when u look into details, I discover there are markings on the mirror done by previous customers. U can only see it when the toilet is fogged up with mist specially after a warm shower. It makes me feel like I'm in a motel specially when your hotel has a history of high profilers staying there too. Then I also found out there are "kuaci peels/skin" on the floor probably under the toilet mat on the 2nd night stay. Its probably from the previous travellers also but I think its not a good sight at all. It'll make u wonder if the housekeeping is in a rush to finish his/her job. If it is clean is alright but if the job is done in a hush and leaving all the dirt behind is pointless. Please take note of this.

We were very dissapointed that we didn't have a room available on checkin although we had advised them that a room was required from 7am. Had to wait 3 and a half hours before they found another room. They also mucked up our return stay and didn't clean the room on the last night. Attentiont to detail was very much lacking on this trip

I found check in a bit confusing. I don't feel everything was explained properly. Check out was a better experience.

In average is fine.but unfortunately the breakfast not included and the check out time not flexible enough.the quality of Indonesian TV channel not so good,
