The location was very good and it provided a place of peace and quiet after the busy streets of Singapore. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

The hotel was well located to access the shopping district on Orchard Street.
The hotel is closer to a 3 star hotel, not 5 stars as indicated. I was told at Reception the drinks in the room mini-bar were free which was funny because there was no mini-bar in the room at all. The room smelled of mouldy carpet and was quite small. In the hotel restaurant a cup of generic filtered coffee cost S$10 while just outside the front entrance at Starbucks a coffee and piece of cake for S$7. After staying at the hotel for 2 days they wanted to increase the room rate which was already at the high end, by 50%.
