We really liked the restaurant food and atmosphere and especially the live music by Anthony Mazzella.
The fact that the pool area was under construction.

Access to the SPA (excellent!); being close to the Oak Creek...in the morning it was great to have a cup of coffee and hear the water running in the creek. Food was also delicious...
Waiting time in the dinning room..too few waiters!

I was there for a wedding.
It needs to be refurbished. It is starting to show its tear. Even my linens were old looking. Towels frayed. My sing wc had a large crack in it.

Main reason for choosing Amara Resort and Spa: Location
The location is just beautiful, pool area very nice, if you are lucky enough to have a room facing this area.
Rooms were dirty, first room smelt, second room we found a dirty diaper under the bed and the bedspread was stained. Also first room had no view at all, except a 6 foot wooden fence, was very disappointed, for the money we paid. I would not recommend this hotel.
