The Inn at Saratoga

Location to town and attractions. The hotel is very quaint but modern and comfortable. Staff was helpful and very congenial!

Staff was especially accommodating.

Nothing you could do about it, but being an old building and being so cold outside it was cold

Although I loved the authenticity of the old hotel it could use a little updating.

The comfortable room and particularly the handicapped bathroom. The breakfast which was very good and plentiful.

The rudeness of the front desk person when I called immediately after I got onto my room and saw the height of the bed! I am 79 years old and walk with a cane, I knew I could never get in and out of that bed without hurting myself. I explained the situation to the clerk and asked for another room. She said that was impossible,the hotel was fully booked. I asked if there was anything she could do for me and her answer was that she would try to find me a footstool. I told her she had better try something because if I got hurt there would be a lawsuit. Her answer was "I doubt it " Not even five minutes later she and a housemaid appeared at the door, asking me if I would like to see another room. I said yes, of course, and we proceeded to the room right next door, I believe 115. It was perfect and I was very, very happy. I did have to wonder how she found this room so quickly in a soldout hotel.

The rate went down with the end of the racing season. We were there not for the races but to bring our daughter to college. Had a very good rock band, first night. Stopped comfortably, at 10:15 P.M. We were exhausted from the trip, but thoroughly enjoyed listening from our nearby room. The antique furniture was well-selected added to the historic ambiance, and were a joy to use. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent.

The room price the first night was inflated, but happily went down the second and third days. But, that, we understood, was fairly universal in Saratoga Springs, until racing (and returning student) season ends.

The room was very clean and spaucious

The parking not enough spaces for all the guest. Had to park on the road

It was fine, albeit dated inside.

TV was very old and not very good quality. Shower was marginal.
