Nice staff, the wine hour, great maid service, prompt, neighborhood, helpfulness of staff. Can't say enough things about the Buchanan. Kiloton donations to women in need.

That it was well located mostly.
My towels in the bathroom were not clean. Twice one looked like it had makeup on it. These were supposed to be fresh towels. So that really turned me off.

The staff was excellent and the room was clean.
The room was shabby with beat-up pine and melamine furniture. Furnishings were meager. There wasn't even a drinking glass in the room - only paper cups. For the price, I expected something more comfortable and welcoming.

Rooms are clean. Staff is good.
Please give complimenary breakfast and charge 5 dollars more.Also give lamp on both sides of beds. So that both can read.

The location was wonderful. Close to Filmore street with plenty of resturants and shops. Japan Town is wonderful, peacful and everyone is very friendly.
Need to put a bench outside of building for waiting for cabs or sidecars.

There should be free access to the Internet, also in the rooms. Not only a half hour at a time in the lobby. It's the only thing that pulls down with you.
