La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rockford

The people above us were jumping or pounding on the floor for three hours. It got to be very unpleasant. After the management told them to stop they must have left the hotel but left the bathroom fan running all night. That was bad but at least not as bad as the pounding.

Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and was great to have a pool so the children had something to do part of a day.

Needs an update, fresh paint and new carpet. But is okay for an overnight or too.

Friendliness of the staff; liked yogurt for breakfast.

Room door was not even on bottom - had great difficulty getting in and out of my room. Also, dead bolt was impossible to use, probably for same reason. Bathroom door hung on right side, so no heat ever entered the bathroom.

Very Quiet, love the room it was more than enough space!

I was disappointed with the woman at the front desk. I came early at about 1:00/1:30 to see if we could check in early just to confirm that I was here and will be back later. The woman did not greet us and was reading something and had an attitude like she did not want to be there. She did not provide great customer service and when you have bad customer service you tell others how bad the service was and you take your service else where. When I arrived back at about 4:30/5:00 to check I'm the new lady greeted and said hello positive attitude and looked like she enjoyed her job. I would like to say good job to her! Sorry I forgot names.

The room was very nice

This was a wonderful place to stay for the price we paid. We have stayed at a few of the other Hotels/Inns in the area but this one has been the best so far.

The continental breakfast could have more to offer.

Very accommodating, friendly staff, they go above and beyond.
