Main reason for choosing Holiday Inn Rockford, an IHG Hotel: Location
I liked the comfortable, clean room. I appreciated having the refrigerator and microwave in the room.
One of the two beds in room 217 sagged in the middle. I changed beds when I couldn't sleep. It was the bed farthest from the door.

The room was updated well. Comfortable bed for the most part. TV..good.
The A/C units need some updating. Carpet in my specific room was not good....had to walk around room in my flip flops because carpet did not feel clean or dry (made my feet sticky). And first impressions are everything....the entrance way, lobby and halls were sore sites for the eyes and smelled like a bar the morning after a good night.
