I had the opportunity to share the GSR experience with my Australian partner and it was perfect! From gaming to dining, first class!
I would think if you book two rooms, you would want them to be near each other. I booked two room and both rooms were two floors apart directly over each other at the end of the hallway furthest from the elevator. It made for a lot of needless walking when we wanted to meet up. Other than the room placement it was great.

We had a great stay at the grand Sierra Resort. The hotel was well ventilated and had a wide variety of amenities including two 24 hour restaurants, an awesome aquatic center and a driving range. The staff was kind and very accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious. Only point of opportunity would be more lighting in the room but that’s not vital - mostly a personal preference.
Lighting in the rooms was lacking and because the mirrors are kinda smoky, it makes it even darker.

The staff was SO nice & friendly. Everyone said hello to us. The room & all hotel public areas were very clean.
The toilets in the handicap stall in the public restrooms were way too low! I felt like I had to sit on the floor. That's not good for those of us who have back & knee problems. Usually, the handicap stalls have higher toilets. That was my only complaint.
