Hampton Inn Philadelphia/Plymouth Meeting

My wife's son and family live in Philadelphia, and therefore we have a reason to come to Phily once in awhile. In particularly, we were looking for a hotel that allowed smoking, and hence yours as a choice. It is our second time to this particular hotel. Your hotel is connected to Ruby Tuesdays. We had a good time at Ruby Tuesdays where our waiter got a great photo of the two of us on our camera. I'm from the North, although I went to several years of college in Pennsylvania, and I liked the touch of southern graciousness we experienced in a few of your staff and one waitress in particular at Ruby Tuesdays.

We had some troubles . . . The card reader did not work on the side door near where my wife chose to park the car, The gal from the desk came out and tried with us and said the reader must be dirty. It was fixed the next day. We could not get the one channel (HBO) we wanted on television and called down to front desk who said they knew it was that way. The heater did not work in our room. Which is to day, your system was blowing fresh warm air into our room, but we had no way to make it really hot in the room. We were a little chilly, and we did not want to change rooms. I mean, a room change was offered to us. Considering we had a good rate on price, these minor irritations were acceptable. We'll be back, we figure. I mean the kids could sell their house and move, which they sometimes consider.
