The garden was nice.

First of all: this hotel is totally overpriced! For that rate you can live a lot better at other places. Or save money and book some other places which is just as good - for half the sum. My first anger came when they without blinking on top of a high roomrate, added 375 baht per day for internet! Incredible! All descent hotels these days have either free internet, or at a much lower cost. But this is Thailand these days: milk and squeeze as much as you can out of the tourists. The room was rather small and you can see that it has been used a lot. For what reason there is a window to be opened between bedroom and bathroom I leave for someone else to find out. Silly. The cleaning ladies did what they had to do, no more. They also forgot to clean the balcony. The safe located in the closet was mounted on a losse chest of drawers! Just lift up and carry away! Really clever! For a price of around 5000 baht you expect a perfect room with all extras. Not here. Regular. Think they call themselves 4 star. Forget that. 3 stars tops - if I am generous. The pool is ok - but so many trees that it shades most of the grounds if you wish to sunbathe. Applicable especially in the afternoon. But water in pool was clean. We tried the buffet across the road. Not much to be impressed by there. Mediocre at best. What irritated the living daylights out of me though, was when staff came with the bill exactly 23.25 - without me asking for it! Had planned for a coffee and a cognac. But no. Bill handed over and the place was cleaned out in 5 minutes - since the place closed at 23.30 hrs and they sure wanted out of there quickly! Such behaviour is so annoying and for sure one never returns! Not a sinble baht tip of course. The place has a lot of green garden surrounding the pool. Nice. BUT not so nice is the stench that comes from still standing water in areas all around! I dont know why it is there, but it looks dirty and the smell was awful. Toilet! How can they accept to have that where guests walk?. All in all - a place that could be an option if price was reduced by 50%. In no way worth these high stakes and to charge 375 per day for internet is a reason alone why I will never return! On the other hand I might have done my last visit to Pattaya altogether. The place is terrible now. An unflushed toilet and I think I´ve had it! But for you guys still planning to go there: book a cheaper and better place than this one! There are plenty of them!.
