Clean, convenient.

A little pricey

We pretty much enjoyed everything. We were down in Oxnard for a wedding Saturday and didn't arrive until Friday night and left Sunday afternoon, so we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. But the girl that helped us check-in was really nice and informative and on Sunday we were granted late check-out twice.

Rooms were comfortable.

Both elevators were broken one day, the next day only one was working which made it inconvenient and a little difficult to go up and down. too many people in hotel pool, it looked like some kids were just dropped off through the side of the hotel. Need to have hotel security checking this. Also were not advised that the 4th floor has "smoking" rooms, would have definitely requested to be moved if we had known, it was not until our checkout date that the room/halls smelled of smoke.

We had some issues with the room. Refrigerator noise kept us up most of the night. Bathroom sink faucet sprayed everywhere. Room was like an iceberg when we checked in. Room smelled like smoke. It was supposedly a smoke free room. The water in the faucets smelled like sewer. We shared this with the front desk.

The room was perfect size for my daughter and I. It was close to my brother's house and the high school that my nices was graduation from. The staff was so helpful. I was late checking in and I claled from the road to tell them so. They said , "Everything was ok and not to worry they had a nice room for me." When I arrived they gave my daughter and I a couple of bottles of water. Which was nice since we were thirsty and hungry. They even had apples for us. Yum! They didn't make me fell stupid when I called at 3:00am when I was not able to find the air conditoner controls. When I called the front desk and they were so nice they said, " Turn around." It is right behind me. I would stay again

I did not like thier breakfast. It looked self serve and the wait staff was not really waiting on us. I asked for the starbucks coffee that they said they brewed. It tasted like dish water. It was old and very light. This is with out sugar or cream. I am very picky about my coffee. I like it fresh and bold. My daughter had the waffles. She said, "They were too sweet." She didn't use any syrup. She likes them plain. So in the end we had no breakfast. For $12 per person, it should have been alot better.
