A very helpful shuttle driver who helped us to our
room with our luggage.
The insight restaurant food and service were excellent.
We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

It was 1/2 block to the hotel where my conference was happening and quite a bit less money. Good area. For dinner I ordered the Baja Burger and got the grilled chicken sandwich instead. I didn't say anything because it looked good and it was FABULOUS!! What a nice surprise. We have been to the Red Lion before - Denver - and had consistently good experiences there.
The coffee pot was a bit of a puzzle but I finally got it to work. I haven't been to a hotel recently so they are probably all like that now. Quite efficient.

The quietness
Was dissatisfied with tv reception was unable to wach a movie told the hotel personal about it just said they get fix .was very disappointed with services.

We arrived very late at Oakland Airport. After we picked up our bags we called for the hotel shuttle to find it was already on its way. Hotel is very close and we found this free service excellent. We were very happy with our east wing room. It was quiet and everything in it was clean and working though, as Australians, we found the hot water heating facilities for making a cup of tea quite hokey. This hotel is not alone in that department. Staff were friendly and helpful and we have decided to stay there again on our next two trips via Oakland.
We were in the east wing which requires a longish bag-drag across an open carpark and found the building entrance so poorly labelled we initially went past it.
