I was impressed by the room cleaning staff who notified front desk about my wallet being left behind in the room. Everything in my wallet including cash was there. Thanks so much for the good staff you have.

The old smell from the room

Clean,comfortable and in a safe location compared to other motels closer to the speedway. Being able to park my motorcycle in a space oppposite the main entry was a plus. I also stopped here 4 years ago when attending the same race school and was not dissapointed.

The front desk clerk, named Shaq. He was the best ever. Did everything to accommodate us during the entire stay. And the woman who worked the morning shift, don't know her name, was wonderful as well. They made the stay easy and pleasant. You should reward those employee for their outstanding courtesty and work as respresntatives for Hampton Inn.

Although, the comforter and pillows on beds are cleaned daily, they are crumpled which makes the appearance of the room appear unkept or hurried when it was cleaned by housekeeping staff.

I would recommend providing transportation (shuttle) to and from the airport! Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was super. Check in/out easy. I needed to change rooms and there was no problem with that. Coffee is available 'round the clock in the lobby, so I didn't have to hastle with making it in the room. There were no slot machines in the hotel. Breakfast buffet was served with a large menu, always a nice touch. There are a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Could not hear any noise coming from the hallway. Room was very clean. It is next to a Sam's club. If you are a member, you can get cheap gas.

THe carpets were dirty, especially in the elevator where they didn't look as if they had been vacuumed or cleaned ever. There was an odor in the hallways and elevator. That's why I marked down the Cleanliness and Price/Quality. I stayed there earlier in the year and everything was clean. FOLEX would remove stains and spots. There was a terrible odor of garbage just outside the exit door opposite to the front door, to the parking lot, for the first two days. The tray inside the room was dusty, otherwise the room was very clean. I picked the location, so even tho' it's marked down, that's not really the fault of the hotel. It's north of the city with not much view and not a great area. Restaurants are not convenient, unless you like fast food. I wish they had fresh milk for the coffee, either free with the coffee in the lobby or for sale in the mini-mart. My first room had a connecting door and I could hear the noise (baby crying) coming from the next room. Also could hear "thumping" coming from floor above. Changed rooms for the crying. Thumping was not intrusive. It would be nice if the hair-dryer were attached to the wall instead of being corded. Putting anti-slide feet on the microwave to keep it from sliding around would make opening and closing the door much easier. Gideon bible in the drawer. Apparently, this hotel chain's executives think everyone is or should be christian.
