Hotel Belleclaire

We liked the location. The room was a good size and was comfortable.

This is how we were greeted upon first arriving at the Belleclaire "ID and credit card please". That's right, no hello, good evening or any kind of greeting. We certainly weren't made to feel welcome.

Shalom, as you can see we realy liked very much the stay at yours hotel ' every thing was really good and nice.

The only thing that dIsterbed us, aNd mybe it was us who misunderstood was with the cab that took us to J.F.K we spoke with the reception (and becouse we had troubles with the supershuttle on the way from the airport to the hotel)he told us that to his opnion it will be better to order a cab that will take us to the airport, He said that it will cost like 45 $,acording to this advice we came to the hotel on the afternoon and asked to order the cab, we didnt have much time so we took the cab he ordered for us and paied 70 $ , which is almost twice then what we were told. by the way ,it was the same driver who took us to the rental car on our first day in N.Y and also then he charged us a high price in comper with other prices we paied in N.Y

We liked the family suite room. it fitted well to our five adults family purpose. housekeeping was great.

Corridors (colors in the walls) and the first impression when arriving to the hotel. Lobby is not most charming one.

Condition of wc

Being upgraded to a double suite due to long delay checking in when original room not ready

Our room at the back overlooked an alley which housed the hotel's air conditioning unit so there was a constant loud hum day and night

Helpful front desk staff.
