The staffs were nice and helpful.

It was relaxing.

My room was directly in front of the elevators on the 9th floor and the employees were constantly vaccuming and they always had their radios up loud in front of our door.

Not enough towels to start with

It was very clean and the staff was friendly. Location was OK, but you have to drive to really get to any of the fun stuff.

We got trapped in the elevator during a fire alarm and nobody came to get us out. That part was pretty terrifying, because had there actually been a fire, we would have likely just burned to death in that elevator. Because for some reason when someone pulls the fire alarm the elevators lock up. I understand that they lock up to keep people from using them, but they should let people OUT. Plus the check in time is 4pm and the checkout time is 11am.. so it actually takes them FIVE HOURS to clean that place. It really sucks to be sitting in the waiting room watching droves of people check in at 2, 3, 3:30, and to go up to the desk at 3:50 and be told I have to wait until 4 exactly to check in. So... thats my experience.

Only like was Mavis and Tammy...brightest spots of the entire hotel.

Dirty, had to ask for housekeeping everyday. Elevators extremely slow and by the third day day only one elevator was working. The parking garage elevator never worked and the parking lot area heading to the front of the hotel to registration too small and too congested.

I ordered and was booked for a King Bed but got 2 doubles. The hotel said there was nothing they could do about it. My wife and I slept in separate beds. She would like to know who to thank for that. The number on my room door was drawn on in magic marker. There was an old door lying in the hallway the whole stay. The elevators made loud clunking noises, but also often didn't work at all and we had to take the stairs 14 floors up. I go to the gym 5 days a week and didn't need that exercise. I had to get 4 different room keys before they concluded my lock mechanism was broken and they sent up a maintenance person to fix it. Until this epiphany on their part I was locked out of my room for a couple of hours, ridning the clunky, scary elevators up and down repeatedly trying to get them to let me into my room. Luckily I was only there 2 nights. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Myrtle, many of them are dumps, and I don't complain while I'm on site as I hate complainers and Myrtle is what Myrtle is, but this is absolutely the worst hotel ever and for that I feel I got something out of the trip...a new low. On the bright side, I was there to golf and enjoy beer and the beach so it was a roof over our heads and we still made the best of it and had a good time. The staff were friendly enough but it was obvious they only had so much to work with. They walked around with a forlorn look of hopelessness on their faces. I was told they are starting a complete reno beginning last week so maybe the timing was bad.

Do a better job of cleaning up the rooms after "spring break". The carpets were stained. We could see recent stains where someone up-chucked. The oder was all over the elevator area on our floor the entire time we were there.

The staff was really nice and the hotel was really close to all the shopping centers and had a beautiful view of the beach.

The rooms do not look like what they do in the pictures. They do not look clean with white comforts. Our comfort or felt really nasty, almost kind of greasy. The bath towels were stained yellow and the water smelled funny. Also, the indoor pool was under renovation. The hotel just needs a lot of updating. All of the carpet is nasty in the hallways and in our room but the Main Lobby looked very nice and inviting so it was a shock when we got upstairs to our room. Also the restuarant overcharged us and by the time I realized it, they had closed.
