Main reason for choosing Hilton Garden Inn Montréal Centre-ville: Location
The room was spacious and pleasant. The lobby was also inviting, and we made use of the sitting area frequently, when waiting for friends. The front desk staff at check-in were particularly friendly.
We found it difficult to be out of the room enough to have housekeeping in. We would purposely stay out of the room for a few hours in the morning, only to come back to an untouched room. We would hope to relax in the afternoon, so would put out a Do Not Disturb sign, and then would have a call from housekeeping asking if we wanted the room made up that day. This happened on 3 days out of the 3 full days that we were there.

The staff was unfailingly courteous and helpful.
The stall showers were very comfortable.
Suggestion: The floor of the stall shower becomes slippery when soapy
water strikes it. I would suggest non-slip coating or strips be applied.
