Main reason for choosing Howard Johnson by Wyndham Middletown Newport Area: Rate

The location was great. We used the pool and it was clean and good water temperature. We wish that there were a larger lobby area and perhaps some comfortable seating areas with magazines, soft drinks, snacks available. It gets claustrophobic in the rooms after awhile. An outside patio area -fenced in, of course, with benches or picnic tables with access to the lobby. There is a nice grassy area along the side next to the Ramada which could be used.
